Church Guilds

Fellowshipping brings Christians together in their endeavour to serve Jesus Christ. The EPCSA provides a platform, in the form of Guilds, for its members to come together as peers to Worship and Praise. Guilds are an association of people with common or similar interest and purpose. There are at least two main recognised Guilds in the EPCSA Tshwane Central congregation:

Men’s Guild
Women’s Guild

Similarly, Youth, Sunday School, Catechism and Young Ladies (Vanhwana) serve the purpose of encouraging the members of the congregation who are not part of the Men’s Guild and Women’s Guild.

The Apostles' Creed

I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord.
He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended into hell. On the third day he rose again.
He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty.
He will come again to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Christian Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the dead, and the life everlasting.

Amen.

The Lord's Prayer

Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be your name,
Your kingdom come,
Your will be done, on earth as in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins
As we forgive our own debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom,
The power, and the glory are yours, forever.

The Greatest Commandment

"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind"

This is the great and foremost commandment, and there is a second like it

"You shall love your neighbour as yourself"
